The Herald Limited’s Graphic Design Department utilizes the Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard which incorporates but is not limited to Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. These three programs are extremely compatible and create efficiency in design.

Illustrator creates vector-based files and holds assets like logos, drawings, typography or illustrations where clean lines are desired.

Photoshop is used when photographs are involved or when there are many elements that will come together within a design. It holds various effects, brushes, gradients and blending colors.

InDesign brings it all together. Elements designed in Illustrator and Photoshop can easily be brought into InDesign to complete the layout. For example CD booklets, brochures, books, and other business-related documents.
